The nearest gym to every tube station and how much it costs

As the spring and summer months draw closer, the urge to join a gym, participate in a fitness class or two and improve our general wellbeing grows strong. With the sun shining, no more lockdowns in sight and people heading back into the office several times a week, we wanted to find out the nearest gym or wellness studio to every tube stop.

We all know there are plenty of physical health benefits of working out, but exercising can greatly improve your mental wellbeing too. Any type of exercise, from intense weightlifting to a leisurely yoga class can help improve focus and concentration, make you feel more energised and mentally sharp, reduce stress and give you a better way to cope with stress too. You’ll also likely experience better sleep, improved self-esteem and feel happier overall.

Methodology

When it came to finding and comparing gyms within a ½ mile radius per station, we looked at several different factors to determine the general cost of membership. For example, where a gym had in person and virtual options, we took the cost of the in person membership. We also excluded the cost of joining fees and only considered adult fees. Where possible, we considered monthly rolling costs over 12-month membership monthly breakdown, as this offers more flexibility. With the gym franchises, we considered access to that site only rather than all UK sites. And, where a gym didn’t have the online pricing or was tailored to the enquiry, we labelled it as ‘bespoke’.

If you’re maintaining a hybrid way of working, we offer a range of fitness equipment such as resistance bands and yoga equipment to keep up with your at-home workouts in between your gym days.

It’s very common to experience muscle pain from the gym or while working an office job, so we also offer a wide range of massage tools to help relieve those daily aches.
