Yes, you can put franked mail in a normal post box, however, there are certain rules and conditions you’ll need to follow in order to avoid delays and extra charges. If you are posting 30 regular letters or less, then you can use a normal post box as long as you are using metered posting or low-volume posting envelopes which should be supplied by your machine provider.

Your franked mail will take the standard amount of time it takes regular mail depending on which class you’ve sent it. In the UK, First Class mail will arrive the next working day excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays. Second Class mail will normally be delivered within 3 working days. You can also send franked mail by the SignedFor service and Special Delivery if you require the reassurance and guarantee of your mail arriving by a certain time.
For international mail, you have the option to choose International Standard delivery which aims to deliver your mail worldwide within 6-7 working days. You can also choose International Tracked, International Signed or International Tracked and Signed for extra added peace of mind. But, you must remember to include Airmail stickers on the top left corner of your envelope for these types of deliveries.
