We advised them that with the upcoming PSTN switch-off in 2027, they would benefit from cloud-hosted telephony. The PSTN switch-off stands for the Public Switch Telephone Network, where every phone line in the UK will have moved to a fully digital network that uses the internet. The switch-off will take place in December 2027, so it is critical to upgrade as soon as possible. We also recommended Wifi Repeaters which transmit signals over larger distances which ensures they would have a strong connection in all rooms.
We provided them with a brand new and future-proof cloud-based phone system with the ability to access from anywhere. This means they have the ability to make and receive calls from a range of devices while presenting the practice number, rather than their own. This also included an easy-to-use interface on mobile, call recording, pre-recorded menu system, enabling hybrid working and transfers and putting people on hold seamlessly. We also provided a brand new fibre internet connection into the premises with speeds of 330 Mbps and Wifi repeaters set up in the premises so that all rooms and areas will have stable internet accessibility.
